Now, on to my BIRTHDAY PARTY!!
As a consultant, if someone places an order without attending an actual home party, I add them to my own online party, which I get host benefits for. However, since it's my birthday, I decided to share the love and give everyone the host benefits for their own order in addition to getting the great party prices. To give you an idea of how that will benefit you, here are a few examples:
Example 1:
All #10 cans:
Freeze Dried (FD) Strawberries $24.09
FD Raspberries $30.39
FD Bananas $24.49
FD Pineapple $33.99
FD Blueberries $35.99
FD Corn $17.19
FD Celery $20.59
FD Onion $17.49
Pepper, Mixed Bell $15.99
Carrot Dices $14.59
Whole Egg Powder $20.99
Instant Milk $19.59
FD Chopped Chicken $33.79
FD Ground Beef $40.29
Blueberry Yogurt Bites $33.69
Butter Powder $20.39
6 Grain Pancake Mix $9.89
9 Grain Cracked Cereal $7.49
Egg Noodles $8.79

Total: $429.71

Host benefits:
Free product (at the retail price): $42.97
Half off product (at the retail price): $100

So, this customer could get all of that listed above plus this example host order:
Free:
Whole Wheat Flour ($8.39)
Brown Sugar ($10.99)
FD Green peas ($22.49)
2 plastic emergency whistles ($0.49 each)
Total: free

Half off:
Total after benefit is applied: $54.98

Grand total: $484.69 (plus tax, shipping/handling)
Total savings: (Not including the discount the party price gives you) $92.87

Price Comparison:  I compared the items in the original purchase to Emergency Essentials (omitting the yogurt bites because EE doesn't carry those).  I found that once host benefits are considered (I took the original total, then subtracted free product amount plus $50 since that would be your half off savings), you save $56.33 by purchasing through me compared to purchasing through Emergency Essentials.  That isn't even considering the surprising difference in the number of servings you get from Shelf Reliance compared to Emergency Essentials.  See a serving comparison here which is the best way to compare products.

Example 2:
Total: $225.68 (plus taxes, shipping and handling)
Host benefit/Total savings: $22.56 in free product (retail price)
Example 3:
Plus, they sign up for the Q with a budget of $100 a month
(In a party, the hostess gets benefits from the first 3 months that someone is on the Q, so this person will get credit for a $300 order)
Total: $364.99 (plus tax and Shipping/handling), then each month they will pay around $100 on the date they chose for their Q to ship.

Host Benefit:
Free: $56.49 worth of product (retail price)
Half off items: Up to $100 worth of product (retail price)

Total savings: $106.49
Price Comparison:  If you buy the Harvest Food Rotation System from Costco, it costs $299.99.  When you consider the host benefit from buying it through me in addition to the already lower price, you end up with a savings of $61.49 over Costco, which is about a 20% savings

As you can see, this is an awesome opportunity! If you would like to participate, please email me what you would like to order at mythrivehive@gmail.com. Once I receive your email, I will give you a call to get your payment and shipping information and place your order.

The deadline for this party is JUNE 10, 2011. Enjoy the party!

Wow Hilary! This is super cool! I wish I wasn't going out of town cuz Jason and I have been talking about getting serious with this stuff. Maybe you can extend the discounts for when we return... :D So I did every single one of the things you listed except attend a party, so I think that is 11 entries! I hope I win!!

I am super interested in the consolidator pantry, I have a friend who told me it saves a ton of room, which is really my reason for not stocking up more. I'd really like to do more in preparing my water supply and I would love to pick your brain about 72 hour kits. I did the shopping list and then realized that I couldn't save it. Erg. So I went back later and did a wish list instead, though at that point I was out of time. Lame. I probably need to talk to you about it all anyway. I think the Thrive Q is brilliant! Sure simplifies things for me!

Do you want a separate entry for each thing to give more of a chance or do you want what was done listed in one post? I have a better chance if I do it in more comments, right? More chances to win.

I did a post about it. I list the other later when you let me know if it is to be multiple entries.
